Directions to Legends & The Monument


Travelling to The Monument

Follow directions to The National Wallace Monument, located just outside Stirling – signposted from the City Centre, from Bridge of Allan, and from the M80, M9, and A91.

Free Car Parking is provided for visitors to Legends at the Monument and The National Wallace Monument.


Train

Regular services to Stirling are operated by ScotRail from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee, with connections to services across all of Scotland.  Click here for further information on ScotRail services.

Lumo provides direct trains between London and Stirling daily.


Buses

The Monument is served by regular local bus services, departing from Stirling city centre with frequent departures during the day.

Taxis

Taxis are available from Stirling city centre and is a short ten minute drive.


Walking & Cycling

It takes just under 1 hour to walk from Stirling Train Station. There is the option to go through Stirling and Causewayhead, crossing the Old Stirling Bridge, or via Riverside and Cambuskenneth where you can see the Cambuskenneth Abbey.

There are cycle racks to park your bike outside Legends At The Monument.

Who we are

Legends at the Monument is managed by Stirling District Tourism Ltd, an independent local charity promoting heritage, history and educational activities in the greater Stirling area.

What we do

We provide a welcoming experience for visitors and local residents at our coffee house and gift shop. We use all funds raised to support our educational and heritage activities.
